The litigation module is reached from the left-hand building menu.

A table displays the list of litigations in progress on the building (not closed).

Use the “+ Create a litigation” button to add a new litigation to the building.

Create a litigation

Clicking on “+ Add a litigation” opens the creation window.

A creation guide is available and can be accessed by clicking on the question mark icon at the top right of the window.

The following fields must be filled in to add a litigation :

  • Nature : Enter the nature of the litigation.

    This list can be customized on the API administrator site.

  • Opposing party : Enter information about the other party here.

    You can search for an existing third party or contact in Soneka, or create them using the corresponding buttons if they don't exist.

    An additional text field is also available : Add-on opposing party.

  • Jurisdiction : Enter the competent jurisdiction for handling the litigation.

    This list can be customized on the API administrator site.

  • Position : Enter the position in this litigation, plaintiff, defendant or other.

  • Law firm : Information about the law firm handling the case.

  • Lawyer : Information about the person handling the case.

  • Closed : This check box indicates that the case is closed.

  • Reputation risk : This check box indicates that the litigation involves an image risk.

  • Requested amount : Enter the amount in controversy.

  • Provision/Procedure costs : This checkbox indicates that a deposit or procedural costs are to be expected for this case.

  • Financial risk > 100K€ : This tick indicates that the litigation involves a financial risk in excess of €100K.

  • Previous file number : Free text zone used to store a file reference.

Litigation list

Clicking on one of the lines in the litigation list allows to :

  • Modify the litigation by clicking on the related button.

  • Delete the litigation by clicking on the related button.

  • Add a comment on the dispute by entering a text in the appropriate field and clicking on the “Comment” button.

    The Litigation module has been enhanced with an advanced commenting feature, enabling you to track the evolution of litigation over time.

    Comments are displayed in chronological order from the most recent to the oldest (left to right). After 3 comments, an arrow is displayed to access older comments.

Litigation follow-up

A standard Litigation report is available, enabling you to extract the list of litigations for a building or a portfolio, in order to manage them.

Advanced search

Litigation can also be retrieved using the advanced search.

In the upper part of the screen, you can apply several filters to the buildings to be considered (portfolio selection, for example).

In the lower section, select the object to be analyzed from the drop-down list : Litigations.

The following filter criteria are available for litigations :

Once you have applied the necessary filters to buildings and litigations, click on “Search” to access the results.

The search results are then displayed in tabular form.
